Founded in 2016, Kotozna has been transforming multilingual communication in hospitality and tourism. Starting with a small team of language and AI enthusiasts, we now boast over 30 employees worldwide, serving clients in Japan, the US, Thailand, Singapore, and beyond.

In 2021, we launched Kotozna In-Room, enhancing hotel guest experiences with AI-powered multilingual support. Building on this success, we introduced LaMondo in 2023 to bring GenAI to tourist destinations and across industries.

Today, we serve a diverse range of clients, from boutique ryokans to major tourist hubs, across 109+ languages. Our global team of AI experts and tourism specialists is dedicated to making every guest interaction smooth, personalized, and memorable.

Kotozna thoroughly utilizes generative AI to eliminate the ‘language barrier’

Inbound tourism, which welcomes visitors from overseas, is one of the few remaining growth areas for Japan’s regions. Faced with a declining birthrate and an aging population, local economies are finding it difficult to grow, and inbound tourism, which is expected to expand further in the future, can be an economic growth engine.

On the other hand, the first problem that inbound travellors face is the ‘language barrier’. Kotozna aims to solve the social problem of this ‘language barrier’ for inbound travelers by utilizing cutting-edge technology.

In particular, generative AI, which is evolving rapidly these days, is a game-changer in overcoming the ‘language barrier’. By thoroughly utilizing this generative AI, Kotozna will revolutionize the way people travel by smoothly conveying the accurate information travelers demand in multiple languages.

To realize these visions, we offer three solutions.

1. Kotozna In-room
A multilingual digital concierge for the hospitality industry. Enables travelers from all over the world to get information in and around the hotel and communicate with hotel staff without ‘language barriers’.

2.Kotozna ConcierGAI
Multilingual generated AI chatbot. A chatbot in which a generative AI responds via text/voice/avatar as if it were talking to a human being, providing accurate information relevant to a specific client, such as a region or company.

3. Kotozna TPG
An external API to utilize ConcierGAI outside the tourism sector. By providing clients with accurate and smooth ConcierGAI answers via an external API, it enables the use of generative AI in a wide range of industries/systems.

We provide these solutions in a SaaS model that anyone can afford, with ease and at a low price, and work to ‘energize rural areas’ by eliminating the ‘language barrier’.The ‘language barrier’ is a social issue not only in Japan, but around the world.
